ETL as a Service – Your data, where you need it

Is your data in the right place to serve you best?  Over time, the ideal place to hold your data can evolve, and the best place for your data to exist in the past may not be the best place today.

ETL, which stands for extract, transform and load, is the process of extracting data, often from multiple sources, transforming it into a format that is fit for purpose, and loading it into another, modernised, or more suitable target system.

There are many reasons why you might want to move your data to a new home:

  • You want to make your data work harder for you – for analysis in a data warehouse, or to learn from your data using an artificial intelligence engine
  • You may need to modernise your systems to improve efficiency and customer experience, as your old systems are too costly, clunky and inefficient
  • You may need to merge or separate data as part of a business restructure
  • You might want to move your data into the Cloud so that you can access it from anywhere at any time
  • You might need to digitise records previously held on paper, microfiche, or other legacy formats
  • Or you simply might need to archive your data to a secure and cost-effective solution, for retrieval as and when needed

Whatever the reason, moving your data to where you need it most isn’t always easy.

Getting data out of old databases such as SAP and Oracle or from proprietary call recording systems, can be a costly and time-consuming exercise, and transforming your data to be in standard, non-proprietary formats for long-term preservation can seem daunting.

Here at Krome our ETL data experts will extract any data from hard-to-reach systems and places, transform it to the format you need, and load it to exactly where you need it most.

Our ETL as a Service allows you to focus on realising your goals, whilst we take care of seamlessly moving your data to its new home for you.

Regardless of project size or complexity and whether a one-off migration requirement or part of a larger, continuous data migration process, we can help.
