StorARCH On-Premise Archive and Retrieval
Clients may choose to deploy StorARCH within their own Data Centres, with Krome providing on-going support for the StorARCH application.
Benefits of the StorARCH On-Premise Archive and Retrieval model:
- Some clients may prefer to retain the control of managing and supporting the physical infrastructure on which StorARCH is installed within their own framework and SLAs
- Owned infrastructure allows the infrastructure to be shared with other applications internally, at the client’s discretion, and re-used after StorARCH is no longer required
- Security can be highly customised to the client’s own internal standards, processes and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of the infrastructure resides in-house with the client
- In this model, production data need never leave the client’s environment
- An On-Premise installation may be run without internet connectivity, if preferred
For an On-Premise delivery, the client would design and build their core infrastructure (including Disaster Recovery provision), with Krome providing the design and build of the StorARCH application and data load processes.
StorARCH would then be installed on the client’s infrastructure, where initial data loads would be supported by Krome.
